Privacy
Architecture.

At BaseVera, we treat data protection as a core engineering requirement, not a legal afterthought. This policy outlines how we handle information across our mobile ecosystem in alignment with German and European standards.

Effective Date: January 29, 2026

Our Mandate

System Integrity & Data Residency

"Data minimization is the primary constraint of our development lifecycle. If a piece of data doesn't improve the game loop or security, we don't collect it."

BaseVera operates under the strict jurisdiction of the Federal Republic of Germany. We recognize that digital privacy in the mobile gaming sector is often compromised by aggressive telemetry. Our approach is the inverse: we utilize Differential Privacy algorithms to ensure that while we understand high-level app performance, we never infringe upon the individual profile of the player.

We host our primary data clusters at DE-CIX Frankfurt, ensuring that user data resides within the European Economic Area (EEA). This physical residency guarantees that your information is protected by the most robust legal frameworks in the world, specifically the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Method Note: Risk Evaluation

Our security protocols are evaluated quarterly relative to the latest Vulkan API exploits and OS-level sandboxing updates. We prioritize system robustness over feature expansion, meaning certain high-tracking social integrations are intentionally omitted from our build architecture to protect user anonymity.

Includes hardware model, OS version, and GPU architecture. This is used solely to optimize frame rates and prevent thermal throttling on high-performance displays.

Network Logistics

To ensure sub-20ms latency during competitive play, our backend logs temporary IP addresses to route packets and detect regional latency spikes across Germany’s 4G/5G infrastructure.

Common Privacy Pitfalls

01
Social Sync Over-Sharing

Many gaming apps sync your entire contact list when you connect a social account. BaseVera prevents this by using a strictly siloed API that only verifies your identity without harvesting friend-graph metadata.

02
Invisible Location Tracking

Persistent background location tracking is a major battery drain and privacy risk. We only utilize coarse location data during server-matching phases and zero background tracking during idle states.

03
Ambiguous Retention Periods

The "data forever" trap is common. BaseVera enforces hard-coded expiration dates on all logs. If an app log is older than 30 days and has no active security relevance, it is automatically purged from our DE-CIX clusters.
